The Lennar Team was outstanding during the process. My consultant was excellent and bridged the gap with the out if state home buying experience. The process was tailored and streamlined. However, the craftsmanship of the home was was less than my expectation. There were several defects in the details of the home. I had many service calls for the hot water heater after 4 attempts it was finally corrected. The overall construction of the home meets my expectations so far. However the details were subpar. I’m not pleased that the home warranty is only 1 year.

The house designs and final build are attractive but you start noticing where corners were cut and how cheap some materials are. Buying in 2021 was uncertain and the lack of communication from the selling agent made the whole process feel like a gamble. I feel that under different circumstances (not COVID, not 2021 buying spree, not material shortages) Lennar is a good company and the people are for sure really nice but the final product was “okay” when you start noticing the details. We liked the "everything's included" plan. It helped us budget for the home we wanted with no surprises. We were disappointed by the interior paint quality, however (thinly applied and not durable or cleanable). We were told there was a paint shortage, but now we will have to repaint much sooner than we had hoped.

For the most part good. However, the floor has some anomalies. Not even in all locations and caulking in bathroom is cracking. Finally, no instructions on operation of dishwasher. The dishwasher had no warranty information and appears to have been installed incorrectly. When dishwasher door is closed it is not straight. The whole thing with the dishwasher seems to be a lack of detail.

My Salesman Greg is great very attentive to my questions. Lennar's underwriting team is a nightmare. Waiting till the last minute to check and complete the sign off. Customer Care slow to address some issues, seems like they hope it will go away on it own. Some appliances feel cheaply made. Could have gone with better dishwasher, washing machine and dryer.

Make sure all issues are closed before closing. Expect to spend 10% (paint, kitchen pantry wire mesh, doors) more on fixing poor quality related work. Extremely pleased with the layout of the house including linen closet space. Excellent warranty service provided by Kelly, superfast and responsive.

Lennar does build beautiful homes and condos and carriage houses to fulfill your desired comfort physically and financially. Their team of assistants ranging from the Realtors to construction and closing agents did an amazing job and they actually cared in helping and making sure everything progressed smoothly. I was very impressed by this overall experience and their communities are absolutely beautiful to enjoy for a lifetime.

Flooring completely messed up staples coming up. Caulking not even caulking in bathrooms already coming off. Cracks in ceilings, all the doors squeak and only been here 5 months

Well I am disappointed, my whole floor needs to be redone. They barley fixed any of the things they said they would on the walk through. Said “it’s under warranty my guys tried just make a checklist.” Used some cheap material where the caulking was suppose to go and had left a water buildup from a loose pipe in basement tried saying they had just cleaned it. Lying straight to my face, I hope they honor the warranty and if they would just slow down and do it right there wouldn’t be any problems. Good luck if your shopping with lennar I hope you get better quality than my duplex.

The actual building team (overseeing manager, contractors, subcontractors) is where my biggest issue is. When we arrived on the final walkthrough there was quite a bit not done, the house was far from clean, and the yard looked terrible. Keep in mind this is after we did the initial walkthrough and put things on our list to be repaired and/or cleaned. Paint was sloppy, we still don't have all the caulking done on the exterior, and the railings aren't level to just mention a few things. The quality of these homes are pretty good. The experience with Lennar Mortgage was a bit difficult, as well as having issues addressed during the building process. There were issues of not getting all of the Everything Included items that were promised by the Sales Office.
