Great sales team. Soooo many routine building issues / defects that should not have been there and 3 months later are not fully corrected. Lennar should have their own in-house repair team as this seems to be endemic - or at least the 12-20 other new homeowners we have discussed with have the same issues.

Fit and finish for a upgraded home with everything included was poor. Follow through on commitments is poor as well.

Lennar being a big title n company i decided to trust their construction work but i was very disappointed. I thought inspection was not needed since it's a new built but i was wrong. Please make sure to do one. Found tons of issues. After almost 2 months of living in the New house. i am finding issues every day. I see tons of cutting corners poor built is it blame. I think lennar is more into quantity than quality. Which is very inconvenient for the home buyers. At least they respond for issues quick. I m very disappointed in the quality i got for the price i paid :(

Our new home consultant (Liz l)was great and communicated well with us and also helped us with some personal matters as we acclimated to FL. The process of purchasing a home site unseen(we moved from MN and couldn’t make it here) was nerve wracking. The process they had set in place to purchase, in retrospect, is absurd and in the best interest of Lennar. It’s essentially a bidding war and you automatically put in your highest and best offer, however, you could potentially only be bidding against no one (only Lennar knows). We signed our contract mid-April for an early September close date. The other thing that was frustrating is we had ZERO say in finishes. We knew we’d have to make some compromises but not having any day sucked. This differed from people who closed merely 3-4 months prior. Overall we like the finishes but honestly, who puts tan paint everywhere when you have all grey floors and cabinets and white trim!? We ended up being delayed due to supply chain issues, but that could have been communicated earlier. Thankfully we were living nearby so we could come check on progress. We caught several things that needed to be fixed that should have been caught by the construction manager. Unfortunately we caught many more things after close. Some items include, a closet 5 inches less deep than an identical closet (can’t shut the doors with clothes in it), cracked tiles, interior doors needed to be replaced due to them being wet, crown molding not being painted and all of our interior trim and doors needing to be painted due to needing to be replaced or not painted to begin with, exterior paint needed to be done due to rain, and the first painters got paint on our toilets and blinds. I will say the process to get these things fixed has been fairly easy and they have “made good” on fixing most things so far. Thankfully we did get a private inspection and they didn’t find anything major or they fixed things that needed to be addressed before closing. Wayne, our warranty guy, has been great with helping us! Overall we love the neighborhood and are happy we are here, but I will say, I won’t use Lennar again if we build. -internal paint job; our realtor even commented it was the worst new build paint job she is ever seen -Still have electrical issues -dents in doors and walls, feels like a newer apartment instead of a brand new house we get to be excited to move into. - neighbors have severe drainage issue and their slabs have to be torn up.

It's hardly 3 months since moved into our brand new home and I'm noticing structural issues already (loose railings, floor panels). The quality of the work is nowhere near the price we paid.

Pleasant staff but the finished product/home does not meet the long awaited anticipation and expected results.

I have tempered my expectations of the builder Lennar with all that has happened over the past several years with the pandemic, labor crunch and all of the other challenges facing individuals and companies. However, Lennar uses and iron clad contract where you follow their rules or they keep your 10% down and then sell your contracted home to someone else - to say they have you between a rock and hard place is an understatement. Long story short - my new home was not complete when I received the "time to close" notice. So we closed, I headed to our new home and what did I find - a home that was roughly 95% complete. The home was dirty, there were building materials laying around, damage to appliances, dinged walls, used toilets that were left dirty, the list could go on but I think the brief description accurately depicts the circumstances. In their rush to close the properties, they closed them before they were genuinely ready, and I presume they intended to button things up at a later date. Have asked lennar to stop sending me these rating reviews, and emails trying to sell me new houses and show me what homes are available etcetera! If Lennar can't figure out I've already purchased a home 4 months ago and can't figure out I don't need to buy another one; then why would I want to do business with an entity that doesn't listen to its buyers/customers!

The sales team were great. The general contractor and basically the build of the house made me question the quality.

Without seeing a model home, it was hard to know what you are buying. No brand new home over a million dollars come with shingle roof. Quality of fixtures are lousy. Faucets, etc.

I'll never buy another Lennar home again

No keys day of closing had to wait 5 days later to get keys and move in still no mailbox need some touch up no lites in backyard

Went to closing being told I had a surplus and would be receiving a check instead at closing was told I owed over a Grand.

Overall quality is not good. Exterior problems with brick, deck, paint. Walls and floors not level or straight. Everything was rushed and needs to be repaired multiple times. Warranty team is nice, but issues are still slow to be addressed.

I was asked to close quickly to enaure Lennar got the closing done by the end of their fiscal year. I did so with the promise the punchlist founding during the walkthrough would be done by closing. It took over a month to have complented and cost me a month of rental imcome.

Very frustrating trying to settle and move in to a new “finished” home. We expected delays due to supply issues however upon settlement, major construction should have been completed. Racks were not installed. Bathroom fans not installed. Painting not finished. When touch up painting was attempted the colors did not match. This resulted in all of our rooms needing to be repainted after our furnishings were moved in. There was no final cleaning so we are still chipping grout off the tile floors. Grout in the bathrooms need to be re-done as it was not completed. So, we are moved in and 2 months later still dealing with issues. Workmanship needs to be improved.

When we got the house it was not the same model and the restrooms were different. The material that they use for the shower is a waterproof Sheetrock and they glue a piece of Sheetrock to put shampoo on it and it did not stay that long , it fell the second time we used the shower and that happened to both restrooms.

Poor craftsmanship for the money

First of all, we we were on a waiting list for our home. Then, out of the blue, we had to endure a lengthy wait with stressful bidding...raising the price over 100k than original list price! Upon moving in, we found the the quality of trade workmanship sorely lacking. There were way too many issues on the punchlist and afterwards for any of the Lennar staff to reasonably complete in the 60 day period. We still have many issues to resolve...and a tilted ceiling that cannot be reasonably addressed. Love the place...just wish we had a much better experience. Thank heavens the salesman and construction manager made us feel much better and have been very helpful. ... More
