I chose the Groves specifically because of the trees and Lennar because they leave natural trees in the back yard. Well all 4 of the 80 ft trees have died within 4 months of purchasing the property. So now I am stuck with thousands of dollars of tree removal bills plus thousands more in replacement costs because the HOA requires a specific number of trees in the back yard. Seems like Lennar could do a better job of assuring the trees are in a viable state when the house is complete. Buying experience was smooth they were on top of everything. When we moved in there were things that needed touch up on which they got it done pretty fast. Now we have more things we need fixing and the response time is a lot slower since the office is not here anymore.

The quality of the workmanship and materials is wanting.

Extremely sloppy work done. Most workers are so creepy and scary, you don't want them to come back to fix anything. Many, many holes inside and out, unfinished work, dents, paper or plastic painted over on walls. Not even cleaned before move in. Construction dust, dirt left behind. Dead plants. Just a disgrace.

97% complete, example plumber came to fix the water heater and faucet , tighten the faucet and checked the water heater. After leaving the issue still needs attention, 3% not corrected.

Overall a very good home in a desirable community. For a home of this price I would expect them to polish out the details a bit better from the get go though. They do have Sam, who is excellent at taking care of those issues...after the purchase. No major issues so far though. One advice - if you get limestone tile - seal it right away. Happy with the purchase overall!

I really am disappointed that I moved in, in March and don't have a lawn yet. People in the townhouses and other houses who moved in after me have lawns ahead of me. People in townhouses don't care about lawns. I hired and paid a lawn edging company and was told final grade would be done on my property last week. We are all waiting.

I love my new home. Lennar had great floor plans and a variety of finishing options both inside and outside the home. Unfortunately there were some issues. Home itself was great. If you end up being a winter build, be ready to go through a maddening spring. If you close on your home in the winter, you do not get a driveway, sidewalk, or sod. This makes sense given the winter conditions. Here comes the fun part, so that Lennar can make its fiscal numbers, once spring comes, they prioritize their monthly closings first and the winter closings go to the bottom of the priority list for sidewalks, driveways, and sod. The have poor communication about this and try to avoid being straight forward about their practices, they just keep saying “soon” when you ask for updates. The end up laying the sod late in the spring and it doesn’t survive, but they don’t care because they checked the box. ... More

Nice house and Good Quality

The response time to issues is certainly commendable. Within 24 hrs you get an email that they received your request. Fixed &/or replaced items almost immediately. Brian , construction supervisor, is the best. He takes the time to address all issues and makes sure proper departments are notified. When I first moved in he fixed some things himself. Kudos.

From start to finish Lennars team was on top of my many questions. We love our home.

Lennar was and continues to be very helpful in all aspects of our home buying experience!

Lennar was on time in the delivery of our new home.

I don't think Lennar is in sink with all of there offices. whey will call you for closing when the home is not ready. if you give then 10 week heads up that you will be on Military orders they don't care and still set you up to close that day even if the home is not done. I think the next time we start looking for a new home we will start by looking for a new builder.

Julie, Robert, Richard and Tyler were all very knowledgable, helpful, responsive, and trustworthy as I went through the buying the process of a new home.

Love our home! Love the people working for Lennar at Copperlefe! The whole experience was amazing! Highly recommend Lennar. Quality, Price, Location, PEOPLE!!!

We are super please with our first home. Everyone and everything that went into building this home was great. The sales personnel at Lennar made the experience extremely easy to understand.

Nice home, but some touch ups required by Lennar and the owner.

My home was purchased through Cal Atlantic but finalized with Lennar. We chose a Chef Kitchen and we selected the granite counter top for our home. The vendor chose defective granite for me to select and gave me the impression the spots could be buffed out. To my surprise the spots remain I had the situation noted the answer I received was not what I expected . (I chose the granite and sign the form) I attempted to have the situation ruled in our favor a second time and received the same answer. I even offered to buy a different granite on the warehouse floor I was told Dale Title only sold to developers. If I could get my cash payment refunded we would move as soon as possible. ... More

I wish we had our own swimming pool, fitness center and clubhouse considering the price we spent on our home. Other than that, we love the layout, however, it would have been nice to have a fireplace and linen closet.

Overall the process to get to my new home was great. There are opportunities to improve the flow of communication and their process working with their internal lender that were mildly frustrating. But the quality of the home and getting to the finish was fantastic. My family is enjoying the home that Lennar built and hope to for many years satisfied years ahead.
